I am a breakfast lover! Before the Pandemic, City Cafe was my favorite place to go for breakfast. Some friends came to town from Memphis and I wanted to treat them to a great breakfast. So we headed out, hopefully, they were open. We pulled up and it was all lit up! The place was nice and clean! The service was down-home and very kind. I had my favorite Corn beef hash, light egg, wheat toast, the best grits ever!! OMG. I highly recommend City Cafe for the best food in this area!
Fast, tasty, and convenient. We were on a 30-minute waiting list at Denny's and we said heck, "there must be a better place than this". We looked around and were glad to have found this Cafe. Coffee was to my liking; not too strong. I had French toast and bacon. My wife had a country breakfast. Both dishes were good to the last bite!
Came in first thing in the morning with a group of friends! If you like a good ole country breakfast this is the place for you! The waiter was great, kept the fresh coffee coming (serve Community coffee); which I was actually impressed with. I've had it at other places and it's usually watery but not here. I got Two Fred Eggs scrambles, perfectly crispy bacon, perfectly browned hash brown, and ordered 1 pancake on the side!
